ZHIYUN FIVERAY M40 40W Bi-Color Portable LED Video Light
The ZHIYUN FIVERAY M40 has quickly become a staple in my camera bag for quick run-and-gun shoots. I spent the last few weeks testing this 40W bi-color panel to see if its small footprint could actually deliver the output required for professional results.
Performance & Build Quality
Despite its lightweight 320g frame, the M40 feels robust and well-engineered for frequent travel. The inclusion of the DynaVort Cooling System is a game changer, allowing the internal fans to manage heat effectively during extended sessions without sacrificing the unit's structural integrity.
Day-to-Day Experience
Using the dual-wheel interface is intuitive, allowing for quick adjustments to brightness and color temperature without diving into complex menus. The PD fast charging support ensures that downtime is kept to a minimum, keeping the workflow moving even during long production days.
This light is perfect for vloggers, photographers, and mobile content creators who prioritize portability and reliable color accuracy.
Final Thoughts
The ZHIYUN FIVERAY M40 earns a well-deserved 4.91/5 rating for its thoughtful design and reliable performance. At $199.00, it provides a professional lighting solution that feels like a premium investment for any creative kit.
